Road Tripping in Second Life - Route 9 part 2

Continuing on from my travels in part 1 there is still a lot to see on Route 9. The area called Baekga was an interesting spot. It's here that I found an Explorer center with the maps I mentioned in part 1:

Explorer Center

Lots of very detailed maps - hat's off to the creators!

Vehicles available to rez outside (not so easy to steer though)
Next door to the center is a very curious animal store selling Lemurs. You can buy them and look after them, and they indicate their health level etc.

Continuing on I came across this roadside grave - obviously some love that was never ending and probably tortuous...the land plot is called Blood Passion, but it's cute. You can just make out the text. The skeletons are animated with the one on the right giving a rose to the one on the left:

Further on at Elvert I found Hethr's House, a lovely little dressmakers house, very neatly arranged...

Next, time for a sit down. I cam upon a bus stop, but alas no buses in sight...it's always the same, none for ages and then you get three at once...(but none at all today...)

My next find was really great. Further on I found a really cool creepy circus. Technically it's on Route 10 but as it's on an intersection you can see it from Route 9. The place is called Quinloo, and the circus the Carnival of Souls, OMG. Very well done build, even if it's quite gory and creepy. There are some rides, things for sale and great detail and atmosphere:

The entrance above, and round the corner you are greeted with this joyous scene....

Here are some other happy shots:

My next stop was the Town of Philomenia - but I'll leave that for another post. Check back soon!
