Winter Fun in Second Life, Christmas Town 2019

If you're a big kid at heart when it comes to Christmas, Second Life has plenty of seasonal fun destinations to visit.

It's time for my annual winter hop around the various Christmas and winter themed places. I've been doing this for years, and every year I find wonderful destinations. Some open up yearly, but it doesn't get boring because the creators change the environment up every time.

My first stop this year is Christmas Town. This place has everything you could wish for if you love all that's cute and Christmasey. There's no flying here but a lovely Santa Sleigh Ride can takes you on a tour of the town which is a great way to see what's on offer when you arrive. You can of course jump off at any point to have a wander too. I love Santa rides in SL!

There are some really cute things to find here...a gingerbread house, Santa's house and of course the Elve's workshop.  I particularly loved Santa's house, the creators made a really cosy and comfortable atmosphere inside, a lovely spot to rest your legs after exploring.

You won't find yourself short of things to do in Christmas Town. There's a skating rink, snowball fight area, and sleighing hill too. If you are a shopaholic or are on the hunt for gifts you can visit the shops and market stalls.

I thought the  whole area was really nicely decorated with candy canes, twinkling trees, cute elves, reindeer and more.

It's not hard to get into Christmas spirit here.  If that's what you are looking for then I recommend heading over there for some winter fun! Here's the SLURL:

I'm off to find some other great winter places to explore. Don't forget that the SL Winter Expo is coming soon too! More fun to be had and a preview of the new Linden Homes!
