2017 Halloween Town Second Life

It's that time of year (again - it comes round too soon!)  for Halloween adventures in Second Life. There are ususally a good variety of Halloween themed builds and shopping events each this. My first stop this year is Halloween Town, townies. It's what I call a cute them rather than violent horror theme, with a varity of shops and things to do. The shops are very cute with a cartoonish like look (in a good way) selling a variety of halloween and creepy style clothing and items. There's a quick video walk through of the town at the bottom of this post.

There are  a couple of alternative ways to get around other then by foot or flying. One is a flying devil hand which grips you in it's finger tips and makes you wonder when it might nefariously drop you into some dark cavern....

Or there's a wonderful pumpkin styled bouncy ball to hop around on:

You can also take a little adventure through a Haunted house....

This looked interesting. It starts of with a a couple of static scenes to pass by and then through to a movie theatre:

You can walk through the movie screen and ride the little bycicle driven by a little boy through the house. I did start the ride but decided to wait till a friend could join me (yeah, I'm a scaredy cat..) -it was creepy without anything having happened for the first couple of minutes because the hallway you travel through looks modern and normal - but there's no sound and you really don't know what's going to happen. Kudos to the creators for creating great tension. So you'll just have to go visit it yourselves and find out what's really in the house.....

To visit Halloween Town past this landmark address in your Second Life browser: at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Townies/147/86/79
Have fun!!
